Hey Mike,
It's been years but the Velvets were about my favorite band at the time, & the way I remember it their only album you liked was that "VU" odds-n-ends LP. You said you respected'em but didn't like listening to'em. Or was that just the noisy "White Light/White Heat" stuff? And, yeah, "Velvet Underground" is a pretty perfect LP.
